“Don’t tell me your evaluation. Give me the facts.”
Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
In light of the president’s address, I present … First, Chris Wallace’s interview on Fox News with Sarah Huckabee Sanders last Sunday in which he actually tries to get Sarah to stop repeating the same misinformation over and over again cause it really has become this thing of … if you keep saying these things that are wrong over and over that is somehow gonna make them … true? Whew #1.
Here’s the deal. Our prez has instigated a partial government shutdown as leverage to get additional funding for a border “wall” or structure or barrier.
This strategy is not mysterious. Instigate a partial government shutdown that affects roughly 800,000 federal employees and contractors to force the liberal dems to play ball. Lindsay Graham, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, and others, y’all are ok with this strategy. Whew #2.
No matter how much Sarah dodges it or Hannity makes it sound less painful by saying the affected federal workers will eventually get their back pay (geez Louise, that is so goddamn ignorant – there are already people hurting and a lot of people really worried), it comes down to this.
Do you think it is ok to put roughly 800,000 federal employees and contractors in actual or possible financial crisis as leverage to build a border wall (steel or otherwise)? How does that make these 800,000 people “safer”? Why the hell is the shutdown even part of this crap? As far as I can gather, that’s pretty much it folks. Whew #3.
